IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING FOR BIDS FOR <br /> STREET LIGHT UNDERGROUNDING — EAST 14 STREET (150 AVENUE TO SOUTH CITY <br /> LIMIT), PROJECT NO. 07- 210 -38 -172 <br /> Recitals <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro has reviewed and considered the <br /> Categorical Exemption prepared for the Street Light Undergrounding — East 14 Street (150 Avenue to <br /> South City Limit) project and any comments received, and finds that the project will not have a <br /> significant effect on the environment. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has created an Underground Utility District on East 14 Street <br /> from the southern city limits to 150 Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City owns and operates streetlights within the Underground Utility District that <br /> require new underground connections to electrical power; and <br /> WHEREAS, underground conduits and conductors for City streetlights were installed and will be <br /> used for the streetlights to be installed as part of the subject project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> That the Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for said project are hereby approved. And it <br /> is further <br /> RESOLVED, that the call for bids is hereby authorized and the City Clerk is hereby directed to <br /> publish notice thereof once in the official newspaper of this City. <br /> Said bids shall be submitted to the office of the City Clerk on or before the date and time <br /> specified in the public notice, at which such specified date, time and place said bids will be publicly <br /> opened and read. Said bids, after being publicly opened and read, will be calculated by the Engineering <br /> and Transportation Director.
