Access Tax 35,000 CPI = 1.4% <br /> Total General Fund Fees & Taxes $160,000 <br /> Enterprise Fund Fees: <br /> WPCP Connection Fees $ 10,000 Replacement Cost +3% <br /> Sewer Service Rates 482,000 5% annual rate increase <br /> Marina Services 20,000 Berth rentals +5%; live aboard permit +525 /month; <br /> new post office box fee and new dry storage fee <br /> Total Enterprise Fund Fees $ 512,000 <br /> The following summarizes departmental proposed changes to the fee schedule for 2012: <br /> Community Development: <br /> • Building Regulations <br /> o the majority of fees are increased by 1.4% CPI <br /> o new fee of additional plan review after the first recheck (page 7) <br /> • Planning <br /> o All fees increased by 1.4% CPI <br /> o Two new non - residential admin review fees for Other and Temporary Use <br /> o New Temporary Use Permit (Seasonal, holiday, recurring) (page 17) <br /> Engineering & Transportation: <br /> • Park facilities development impact fees increased base on Shelter escalation factor 1.004 or <br /> Engineering News Report Construction Cost index (ENRCCI) 1.032 <br /> • Overhead Utility conversion increased by ENRCCI for underground utilities (page 20) <br /> • Traffic division increases by ENR DFSI factor 1.04 (page 21 +) <br /> Finance — no changes to fees <br /> Fire - All fees are increased by 1.4% CPI (page 25) <br /> Library — no changes to fees <br /> Police: <br /> The following fees are increased due to the fact that San Leandro fees are considerably less than <br /> the cities in Alameda County and to reflect the average charge of these cities <br /> • Taxicab owner finger print/background check increased from $52 to $175 and driver permit <br /> fee increased from $25 to $50 (page 29) <br />
