IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 - <br /> • RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO BLOSSOM VALLEY CONSTRUCTION <br /> FOR THE DOG WALKING PARK, PROJECT NO. 10- 122 -38 -314 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on April 12, 2011, publicly open, examine and declare all <br /> sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2011 -064 of the Council <br /> of said City adopted on March 21, 2011, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br /> description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br /> bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br /> therefore, to wit: Blossom Valley Construction, at the prices named in its bid on file in the <br /> Office of the City Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Council Member and passed and adopted <br /> this 2 " day of May 2011, by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: <br /> NOES: <br /> ABSENT: <br /> Attest: <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br /> u:\_Cuuncil Itcros In I'rocess\Ala)• 02\ Dog Walking I'ark - AwardWog Park - A ward Res.
