IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011-083 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING TAXICAB FARES PURSUANT TO TITLE 6, CHAPTER 6 OF <br /> THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to San Leandro Municipal Code Section 6- 6- 400(c), the City <br /> Council may adjust rates and fares for the use of taxicabs to reflect the prevailing rates and fares <br /> charged by taxicab businesses in the neighboring cities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rates and fares are comparable to <br /> neighboring cities. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1. That taxicab fares are increased as follows: <br /> Current Rate Proposed Rate <br /> Taxicab Flag Drop Rate $ 2.00 $ 3.00 <br /> Mileage Rate $ 2.40 $ 2.60 <br /> Wait Fee per Hour $ 24.00 $ 26.00 <br /> Section 2.
