Reports on City Council Committees. <br />Business and Housing Development Committee Meeting of April 14, 2011. <br />Accepted as submitted. <br />2. Finance Committee Meeting of April 15, 2011. Accepted as submitted. <br />a. COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: Consider approving the fee and <br />service charges, and taxes as amended (listed as Public Hearing Item 3.A.1.). <br />The City Council approved this recommendation. <br />b. COMMITTEE FOLLOW -UP ISSUES: Committee requested staff <br />follow -up on seven fee issues and one specific proposal (follow -up <br />memorandum attached to Committee meeting highlights). <br />The City Council reviewed the follow -up memorandum. <br />C. Resolution No. 2011 -085 Resolution Approving Plans and Specifications and Calling <br />for Bids for the Marina Boulevard Street Rehabilitation Project, Project No. 10- 150 -38- <br />329 (provides for the rehabilitation of Marina Boulevard between San Leandro <br />Boulevard and Washington Avenue and between Teagarden Street and Alvarado <br />Street). <br />D. Resolution No. 2011 -086 Resolution of Award of Contract to Blossom Valley <br />Constriction for the Dog Walking Park, Project No. 10- 122 -38 -314 (recommends <br />award to the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $167,753 for the subject <br />project). Bids opened on April 12, 2011. <br />E. Resolution No. 2011 -087 Resolution Summarily Vacating a Portion of the Public <br />Right of Way of Fairway Drive (at 2500 Merced Street) (vacates an area totaling <br />approximately 141.3 square feet to accommodate the proposed Kaiser San Leandro <br />Medical Center). <br />F. Resolution No. 2011 -088 Resolution Approving Parcel Map 9862 for 2400 Marina <br />Boulevard, San Leandro, Assessor's Parcel No. 079A- 0570- 039 -02; Owner, Subdivider, <br />and Applicant: Santiago and Delia Guitron (creates a three -unit, one -lot subdivision for <br />condominium purposes). <br />
