Discussion Regarding Luster Knight Memorial <br /> Carolyn Knudtson explained the concept plan for the Luster Knight Memorial at Marina <br /> Park and gave a brief background of the project. The design overlooks the Marina, and <br /> includes a water fountain, a fountain for dogs, and a bench with a memorial plaque. <br /> Carolyn explained that staff would like to take the item to the full City Council for <br /> approval. <br /> Discussion ensued. Staff responded to questions from the Committee. Councilmember <br /> Starosciak asked if any trees will be removed to accommodate the memorial. Carolyn <br /> responded that there is the possibility that one tree will be removed, but it is not due to <br /> the project; the tree is sick and may have to be taken down. <br /> Committee Recommendation <br /> The Committee recommended that the Luster Knight Memorial be presented to full City <br /> Council for approval. <br />
