Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> Newly- appointed Recreation and Parks Commissioner Charles Kane took his Oath of <br /> Office administered by City Clerk Marian Handa. <br /> B. Proclamation Declaring May 2011 as Older Americans Month in San Leandro. <br /> Commissioner Miriam Schiffman of the Alameda County Advisory Commission on <br /> Aging accepted the proclamation presented by Mayor Cassidy. <br /> C. Proclamation Declaring May 6 to May 15, 2011 as Affordable Housing Week in San <br /> Leandro. <br /> Woody Karp, Senior Project Developer of Eden Housing accepted the proclamation <br /> presented by Mayor Cassidy. <br /> Mayor Cassidy announced the addition of the Proclamation Declaring May 1 to May 7, 2011 <br /> as Police Memorial Week in San Leandro to the agenda. <br />
