PASS TO PRINT: An Ordinance Adding Municipal Code Chapter 4 -33 Relating to the <br />Prohibition Against the Establishment and Operation of Medical Marijuana <br />Cooperatives and Collectives in the City (prohibits the establishment, maintenance or <br />operation of a medical marijuana cooperative or collective within the City, effective <br />upon the expiration of the marijuana moratorium on October 1, 2011). <br />Dan Rush, United Food and Commercial Workers Local 5 and Medical Cannibis <br />Industry Union, addressed the City Council, requesting the City Council stay its action <br />until the City of Oaldand receives a recommendation from its special counsel. <br />PASS TO PRINT: An Ordinance Adding Municipal Code Chapter 4 -33 Relating <br />to the Prohibition Against the Establishment and Operation of Medical Marijuana <br />Cooperatives and Collectives in the City (prohibits the establishment, maintenance <br />or operation of a medical marijuana cooperative or collective within the City, <br />effective upon the expiration of the marijuana moratorium on October 1, 2011). <br />Motion failed. <br />M/S /C Starosciak and Souza. ADOPT: Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Enter into a Memorandum of <br />Understanding (MOU) Between the City of San Leandro and the Alameda County <br />Transportation Commission (ACTC) Relating to the Interstate 880/Davis Street - <br />Westgate Parkway Interchange Project (provides for the planning, design, and <br />constriction of improvements for the subject project in coordination with the <br />southbound I -880 High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Lane Improvements Project). <br />Wafaa Aborashed, Davis West Neighborhood Group, addressed the City Council, <br />commenting on the impact of the project on the local schools and community, and the <br />public participation process. <br />Resolution No. 2011 -097 Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Enter into <br />a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Between the City of San Leandro and <br />the Alameda County Transportation Commission (ACTC) Relating to the <br />Interstate 880/Davis Street - Westgate Parkway Interchange Project (provides for <br />the planning, design, and constriction of improvements for the subject project in <br />
