TITLE VII MAPS, BUILDINGS AND SUBDIVISIONS <br /> Chapter 3 • Zoning <br /> (i) recreational classes; <br /> (j) athletic contests or practices, including offices for <br /> athletic clubs or organizations; <br /> (k) day nurseries,-nursery schools, kindergarten and child <br /> care centers; and <br /> (1) assembly and packaging of previously prepared materials <br /> provided such activity is conducted entirely within a <br /> completely enclosed building. <br /> Any such conditional use may be approved for additional periods of <br /> up to five (5) years pursuant to Sections 7 -3 -640 et seq. .(Ord. <br /> No. 82 -091, 11/22/82) <br /> Section 7 -3 -223: BUILDING SITE AREA REQUIRED - R -2 DISTRICTS. <br /> The minimum area shall be five thousand (5,000) square feet on an <br /> interior lot and six thousand (6,000) square feet on a corner <br /> lot. The minimum width shall be fifty (50) feet for interior lots <br /> and sixty (60) feet for corner lots. <br /> Section 7 -3 -224: HEIGHT LIMITATIONS - R -2 DISTRICTS. For <br /> dwellings: thirty (30) feet except that any portion of a dwelling <br /> located within twenty (20) feet of the rear lot line shall not <br /> exceed fifteen (15) feet in height. For accessory buildings: <br /> fifteen (15) feet.. For other main buildings: as regulated in <br /> Section 7 -3 -505. <br /> Section 7 -3 -225: COVERAGE LIMITATIONS - R -2 DISTRICTS. The <br /> aggregate ground covereage, calculated as provided in Section <br /> 7 -3 -506 and 7 -3 -507, shall not exceed fifty (50) percent of the <br /> area of the building site. <br /> Section 7- 3- 225.1: USABLE OPEN SPACE REQUIREMENTS - R -2 <br /> DISTRICTS. Usable open space shall be provided in a total amount <br /> not less than six hundred (600) square feet times the number of <br /> dwelling units on the site. Said usable open space shall include <br /> not less than sixty (60) square feet of private usable open space <br /> for each dwelling unit whose main floor is more than four (4) feet <br /> above grade. Remaining required usable open space may be either <br /> private or common. (Ord. No. 66 -24, 4/11/66; Ord. No. 75 -10, <br /> 2/10/75) <br /> Section 7 -3 -226: FRONT YARD REQUIREMENTS - R -2 DISTRICTS. The <br /> minimum depth of front yards shall be twenty (20) feet, except as <br /> otherwise provided in Section 7- 3- 508.3. <br /> Section 7 -3 -227: SIDE YARD REQUIREMETS - R -2 DISTRICTS. The <br /> minimum width of each side yard shall be five (5) feet for a <br /> dwelling not exceeding twenty (20) feet in height; if the height <br /> of the dwelling exceeds twenty (20) feet the minimum width of each <br /> side yard shall be six (6) feet. <br /> 10/12/82 -18.1- <br />
