Certain classes of <br /> Districts, designated by the primary symbol "C" and referred to <br /> collectively herein as Commercial Districts, are established to <br /> provide space_in suitable locations for the many different types <br /> of business activity needed to serve the people and the industries <br /> of the City, to preserve and enhance property values and to <br /> promote economic prosperity by guiding the distribution and <br /> location of diverse types of business uses in conformance with the <br /> General Plan. <br /> Section 7 -3 -301: 7 -3 -309: (Not Used)' <br /> Section 7 -3 -310: C N DISTRICT (NEIGHBORHOOD CCMMERCIAL). Local retail store of a <br /> type which is characterized by sale of new merchandise primarily <br /> to residents of the immediate neighborhood, including such uses as <br /> the sale of confectionery, food, flowers, gifts, books, <br /> stationery, office and school supplies, drugs, garden supplies and <br /> small hardware, but not including other types of retail stores <br /> listed in subsequent sections of this Chapter, or retail liquor <br /> stores exceeding two thousand (2000) square feet of gross floor <br /> area.
