IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -114 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT THE MEASURE B <br /> PARATRANSIT APPLICATION FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF MEASURE B <br /> PARATRANSIT FUNDS IN FY 2011 -12 TO THE ALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY (ACTIA), AND TO NEGOTIATE <br /> AND EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS IN SUPPORT OF THESE ACTIVITIES. <br /> Recitals <br /> WHEREAS, before Measure B Paratransit funds will be made available to local agencies, <br /> the LOCAL AGENCY is required to approve the annual application for Measure B Paratransit <br /> funding; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA) <br /> requires a resolution approving the annual application. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That the City Council authorizes the City Manager to submit the Measure B Paratransit <br /> Application for the expenditure of Measure B Paratransit funds in FY 2011 -12 to ACTIA, and to <br /> negotiate and execute all documents in support of these activities. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution will be transmitted to <br /> ACTIA. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 20th day of June, 2011, <br /> by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: Th4M/LaAA.—) 4( <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
