IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -124 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br /> AGREEMENTS FOR FY 2011 -2012 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND CDBG <br /> SUBRECIPIENTS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES GRANTS TO BUILDING FUTURES WITH <br /> WOMEN AND CHILDREN (SAN LEANDRO SHELTER); DAVIS STREET FAMILY <br /> RESOURCE CENTER FOR BASIC NEEDS PROGRAM AND COMMUNITY COUNSELING <br /> PROGRAM; EDEN COUNCIL FOR HOPE & OPPORTUNITY FOR TENANT - LANDLORD <br /> COUNSELING, RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, AND FAIR HOUSING SERVICES; <br /> GIRLS INCORPORATED OF ALAMEDA COUNTY; SAFE ALTERNATIVES TO VIOLENT <br /> ENVIRONMENTS (SAVE); AND SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SENIORS, INC. (SOS) <br /> CDBG public services agreements between the City of San Leandro and Building Futures <br /> With Women and Children (BFWC) — San Leandro Shelter; Davis Street Family Resource <br /> Center (DSFRC) for Basic Needs Program and Community Counseling Program; Eden Council <br /> for Hope and Opportunity (ECHO Housing) for tenant- landlord counseling services, Rental <br /> Assistance Program, and fair housing services; Girls Incorporated of Alameda County (Girls <br /> Inc.); Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments (SAVE); and Service Opportunity for Seniors, <br /> Inc. (SOS), copies of which are attached, have been presented to this Council. <br /> The City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> The City Manager has recommended the approval of said agreements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said agreements are hereby approved and execution thereof are hereby authorized <br /> for the CDBG public services grant amounts of $17,373 for BFWC's San Leandro Shelter; <br /> $28,955 for DSFRC Basic Needs Program; $8,273 for DSFRC Community Counseling Program; <br /> $12,409 for ECHO Housing's tenant- landlord services; $5,000 for ECHO Housing's Rental <br /> Assistance Program; $11,684 for ECHO Housing's fair housing services; $8,273 for Girls Inc.; <br /> $9,050 for SAVE; and $9,050 for SOS. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 20th day of June, 2011, <br /> by the following called vote: <br />
