This was not part of the master plan study. Harold Perez asked that the Port be sure the residents near the North Field are considered for protection from noise too. Francois Gallo suggested that a noise barrier for a cross -wind runway might qualify as a security measure to make federal funding more available. He had questions regarding a reply to the comment letter from the stakeholders from Alameda. He had questions related to cargo businesses and the Port's responsibility to provide facilities despite the Port's preference to not expand cargo facilities. Kristi McKenney replied that the Port could not realistically constrain a cargo company's growth, but the Port does have the ability to deny land use dedication for cargo operations. Presentation by Airport Noise Office on On -line Flight Replay Web Track Christian Valdez from the Airport Noise Office demonstrated the new flight replay system on the airport's website where residents can see real -time replays of flights over the area, including noise monitor readings where applicable. The website is accessed via http: / /oak.webtrak- lochard.com. Councilmember Starosciak suggested this link be added to the "Airport Noise Complaints" page on the City's website. Recommendations None 4. Items for Discussion at Joint Airport Committee /Port Aviation Committee Meeting on January 13, 2006. Kathy Ornelas reported that Port staff has asked that the January meeting be postponed. Committee members were agreeable and future dates will be discussed with Port staff. 5.
