Master plan overview (history, goals, process, timeline, role of the Advisory Committee, etc.) <br /> 2. Summary of existing conditions at OAK (land use data. statistics, etc.) <br /> Committee members asked for some additional existing conditions data. which the Port agreed to <br /> provide. The Committee also discussed whether alternate members should be allowed to attend <br /> and participate in meetings. The Committee and Port agreed that alternates will be allowed' to <br /> . attend Committee meetings in order to facilitate good communications, but that they would not <br /> participate in discussions (unless they are acting in the absence of the primary representative). The <br /> Committee also discussed how the Committee's views and perspectives on master plan topics would <br /> be communicated to decision makers, the Board of Port Commissioners, who will formally adopt the • <br /> master plan, especially when those views and perspectives differ from recommendations in the <br /> master plan. These views and perspectives will be documented in meeting minutes, and Port staff <br /> agreed to formally present them in the master plan document. <br /> The master plan project director is Kristi McKenney, Aviation Planning Manager, and the project • <br /> manager is Doug Mansel, Aviation Planner. <br /> The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 19. 2004. at which the Advisory Committee will <br /> discuss forecasts of aviation activity and passenger - related facilities.
