• • <br /> SAN LEANDRO SCHOOL DISTRICT AGREEMENT <br /> • <br /> Port shall implement San Leandro Runway Use Polic that regularly scheduled large <br /> • Policy' <br /> Y 9 Y 9 <br /> commercial passenger aircraft operations shall not occur at Airport North Field over San <br /> Leandro, except for emergencies, or when Runway 11/29 is closed for construction, <br /> maintenance or repairs. <br /> • Port shall provide San Leandro with notice, where possible, of scheduled maintenance <br /> and repairs of Runway 1 1129. <br /> • Port shall notify FAA and federal air traffic management agencies of San Leandro <br /> Runway Policy and seek compliance with policy. <br /> • <br /> • Port shall implement San Leandro Insulation Program. <br /> • Port shall conduct a sound study and provide insulation for Muir, Wilson, Monroe, and <br /> Garfield, Lincoln High and Madison schools in San Leandro: <br /> • Port shall pay all costs for conducting sound studies and preparing construction <br /> specifications for San Leandro schools. <br /> • Port shall pay San Leandro School Districts up to $1 million for sound insulation work on <br /> each of the schools, for a total of $6 million. <br /> • <br /> ® • Port shall reimburse the San Leandro School District for its actual consultant costs <br /> associated with the sound studies and construction specifications. <br /> • Port shall designate a representative of the Airport as the Safety Liaison to the San <br /> Leandro School District. • <br /> • <br /> • The Port's Safety Liaison shall provide District with aircraft emergency preparedness <br /> . information and community education outreach programs. <br /> • Port's Safety Liaison shall invite School District personnel to each annual FAA- mandated <br /> • <br /> Airport safety exercise. <br /> • Port's Safety Liaison shall conduct emergency briefings /workshops for school officials <br /> and the public about Airport emergencies. <br /> • <br /> • Port shall provide San Leandro School District with a report on the Port's emergency <br /> response program in the event that an air disaster occurs in San Leandro. <br /> • Port shall conduct and fund technical studies to relocate the Instrument Landing System <br /> • <br /> from Runway 27R to Runway 27L. <br /> • <br /> • Port, after conducting technical studies, shall relocate the Instrument Landing System <br /> from Runway 27R to Runway 27L. <br /> • <br /> 0 <br /> 42390 1 <br />
