IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011-130 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR FINANCIAL ADVISING SERVICES WITH PROFESSIONAL <br /> FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, INC. (PFM) <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro, on April 28, 2011, issued a Request for Qualifications <br /> to solicit proposals from qualified financial and investment advising firms; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Staff, using predetermined criteria, reviewed all respondent <br /> qualification submittals and interviewed the top candidates in person; and <br /> WHEREAS, the staff recommendations were reviewed and approved by the Finance <br /> Committee on June 3, 2011; and <br /> WHEREAS, a draft Agreement between the City of San Leandro and PFM, a copy of which <br /> is attached, has been presented to this Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager requests authority to execute the said agreement when <br /> finalized by both parties. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> Authorize the City Manager to execute an Agreement with Public Financial Management <br /> Inc. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 5th day of July, 2011, <br /> by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: ALA 4 Il ia AAA • , <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
