CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 1:35 p.m. <br />A. ROLL CALL: <br />PRESENT: Members Cutter, Prola, Reed, Starosciak <br />ABSENT: Members Gregory, Souza; Mayor Cassidy <br />In the absence of Mayor Cassidy and Vice Mayor Gregory, Councilmember Starosciak <br />chaired the special meeting. <br />2. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. <br />The public is invited to make comments on Business Items only at this time. <br />None. <br />3. BUSINESS ITEMS <br />A. City Council Interviews of Qualified Recruitment Firms to Provide Professional <br />Services in Connection with the City Manager Recruitment Process. <br />The City Council interviewed three recruitment firms: Bill Avery & Associates, Teri <br />Black & Company, and Ralph Anderson & Associates. The members discussed and <br />provided their input on the firms. <br />It was the consensus of the members present to schedule the matter of the selection of <br />the recruitment firm on the July 5, 2011 City Council agenda. Human Resources <br />consultant Steve Harman was requested to provide a summary for Council for the July <br />5 th meeting. <br />
