CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS <br />Interim City Manager Lianne Marshall thanked the Council for appointing her as interim city <br />manager, and expressed her appreciation for its support. <br />7. AMENDMENT OF CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Consent Calendar was amended to remove Items 8.D. and 8.E. from consideration. <br />8. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Item 8.D. and 8.E. were removed from the Consent Calendar. The remaining items on <br />the Consent Calendar were approved by the following vote: <br />M/S /C Starosciak and Prola. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />A. Minutes of the Meeting of June 20, 2011. Approved as amended. <br />B. Reports on City Council Committees. <br />1. Business and Housing Development Committee Meeting of June 9, 2011. <br />Accepted as submitted. <br />a. COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: Include requested service <br />enhancements, free pickup to public schools within the service area, and <br />additional outreach on how customers can increase their recycling services <br />in the next Solid Waste and Recycling Franchise Agreement with Oro Loma <br />Sanitary District. <br />The City Council approved this recommendation. <br />2. Facilities and Transportation Committee Meeting of June 14, 2011. Accepted as <br />submitted. <br />
