Discussion and Possible Action on a Resolution Approving City Council Payment of <br />the Employee Contribution Portion of the City's CalPERS Retirement Plan. <br />Public Comments: <br />Dave Johnson, San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, addressed the City Council, <br />expressing support for the resolution, calling it an important step. <br />Mike Katz, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting that San <br />Leandro is only one of three cities that pays the employee portion of PERS, and urging <br />the Council to adopt the resolution. <br />End of Public Comments <br />Resolution No. 2011 -137 Resolution for Paying and Reporting the Value of <br />Employer -Paid Member Contribution (EPMC) (authorizes the Mayor and all City <br />Councilmembers to filly pay their employee contribution amount of 7% or 8 %). <br />M/S /C Prola and Cutter.
