Discussion and Possible Action on a Resolution Approving City Council Payment of the Employee Contribution Portion of the City's CalPERS Retirement Plan. Public Comments: Dave Johnson, San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, addressed the City Council, expressing support for the resolution, calling it an important step. Mike Katz, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting that San Leandro is only one of three cities that pays the employee portion of PERS, and urging the Council to adopt the resolution.
