Section 5-2808 of the Zoning Code stipulates that notice of the public hearing for an appeal shall <br />be given in the manner required for the decision being appealed. Minor Site Plan Reviews by the <br />Zoning Enforcement Official requires noticing of adjacent property owners only, which was <br />done by mail at least 10 days prior to the meeting on Friday, May 20, 2011. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Per San Leandro Zoning Code Section 5-2808(E), the Board of Zoning Adjustments' decision on <br />the appeal should be to either affirm, modify, or reverse the Zoning Enforcement Official's <br />original decision. If the Board's decision is to modify or reverse the ZEO's original decision, the <br />Board must state the specific reasons for modification or reversal. <br />Staff recommends that the Board of Zoning Adjustments affirm the ZEO's original decision; that is, <br />the application as originally submitted for Minor Site Plan Review at 908 Dowling Boulevard is <br />approved. Such action simultaneously denies the appeal.
