IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011- <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO MUSCO <br />EXCAVATORS, INC. FOR THE 14901 EAST 14 STREET DEMOLITION PROJECT, <br />PROJECT NO. 11- 962 -39 -001 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on June 21, 2011, publicly open, examine and declare all <br />sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2011 -090 of the Council <br />of said City adopted on May 16, 2011, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br />description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: Musco Excavators, Inc. at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the <br />City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Councilmember and passed and adopted this 6th <br />day of September 2011, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />Forn <br />or grr. <br />1,140 St 1)(mfiOon - AM.3RU,14901 E:34th I)atwolition Ac m—ri <br />❑',in, n <br />T S{- I- �k�t�r�IiHCir� —;\W )irtwmANva1 R� <br />
