IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -153 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUBLEASE AGREEMENT WITH WHITE CAP <br /> CONSTRUCTION SUPPLY FOR THE BEECHER STREET OVERPASS LEASE AREA. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro desires to sublease certain property located under <br /> the Davis Street Overcrossing at Beecher Street, commonly referred to as Freeway Lease Area <br /> No. 04- ALA - 112 -01, pursuant to the Sublease Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Sublease Agreement involves an existing facility and is exempt from <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said Sublease Agreement, and is familiar <br /> with the contents thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the City Council approve said <br /> Sublease Agreement. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> The City Council hereby approves the Sublease Agreement for five years with White Cap <br /> Construction Supply as set forth in Exhibit A. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 6th day of September, <br /> 2011, by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: , <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
