IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -155 <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO AJW CONSTRUCTION <br /> FOR THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) RAMP PROJECT 11 -12, <br /> PROJECT NO. 2012.0140 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on August 15, 2011, publicly open, examine and declare all <br /> sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 201 1 -145 of the Council <br /> of said City adopted on July 18, 2011, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br /> description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director, who has <br /> recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsive <br /> bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsive bidder <br /> therefore, to wit: AJW Construction, at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the <br /> City Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 6th day of September, <br /> 2011, by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: y1��.�LCG <br /> { 1/LL.- <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
