Matter of Extension of a Moratorium Prohibiting Consideration and Approval of Use <br />Permits, Variances, Building Permits, Start of New Constriction, or Other Entitlements <br />for Any Establishment or Operation of Medical Marijuana Dispensaries, Marijuana <br />Cultivation Facilities, or Other Land Uses that Relate to Dispensing or Cultivating <br />Medical Marijuana. <br />The hearing was opened to the public. <br />There being no comments from the public, and without objection, the public hearing <br />was closed. <br />Minute Order No. 2011 -082 Motion Approving and Issuing a Written Report, as <br />Required by Government Code Section 65858(d), Describing the Measures <br />Taken to Alleviate the Conditions Which Led to the Adoption of Ordinance No. <br />2010 -021, an Interim Urgency Ordinance Extending a Temporary Moratorium on <br />the Establishment and Operation of Medical Marijuana Dispensaries, Marijuana <br />Cultivation Facilities, or Other Land Uses that Relate to the Dispensing or <br />Cultivation Facilities Pending the Review and Possible Amendment of Zoning <br />Regulations Applicable to Medical Marijuana Dispensaries, Marijuana Cultivation <br />Facilities, or Other Land Uses that Relate to Dispensing or Cultivating Medical <br />Marijuana. <br />The City Council approved and issued a written report, as required by <br />Government Code Section 65858(d), describing the measures taken to <br />alleviate the conditions which led to the adoption of Ordinance No. 2010- <br />021, an interim urgency ordinance extending a temporary moratorium on <br />the establishment and operation of medical marijuana dispensaries, <br />marijuana cultivation facilities, or other land uses that relate to the <br />dispensing or cultivation facilities pending the review and possible <br />amendment of zoning regulations applicable to medical marijuana <br />dispensaries, marijuana cultivation facilities, or other land uses that relate to <br />dispensing or cultivating medical marijuana. <br />NI/S /C Prola and Reed.
