• <br /> AMENDMENT TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AGREEMENT <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br /> DEAF COUNSELLING, ADVOCACY AND REFFERAL AGENCY <br /> THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made at San Leandro, California, as of <br /> June 17, 1996, by and between the CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, (the "City "), and Deaf <br /> Counseling, Advocacy and Referral Agency ( "Recipient "). <br /> This Amendment is made in contemplation of the following facts, understandings and <br /> intentions of the parties: <br /> A. On July 17, 1995, the City and Recipient entered into an Agreement <br /> ( "Agreement ") pertaining to Capital Improvements at 1550 San Leandro Boulevard for the time <br /> period corresponding to the City's 1995 -96 Fiscal Year, with an amount certain ($55,000), as <br /> agreed to in said Agreement. <br /> B. On November 30, 1995, the Agreement was amended to expand the Scope of <br /> Work to include .pavement and irrigation of the parking lot. <br /> C. The City desires to amend the Agreement to expand the Scope of Work for <br /> which Recipient may use CDBG funds to include the 1996 -97 Fiscal Year, July 1, 1996 <br /> through June 30, 1997, and to correspondingly increase the total amount of payment. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. EXHIBIT A, Scope of Work, shall be amended as follows: <br /> 6. List of Work for which Recipeint may use CDBG funds: <br /> Flooring $7,000 <br /> Fencing and Landscaping $6,000 <br /> Storage Building $4,000 <br /> On -Site Irrigation $3,000 <br /> TOTAL $20,000 <br /> Amendment to Agreement <br /> • <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
