IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -181 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE ASSOCIATED COMMUNITY <br /> ACTION PROGRAM JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br /> OF SAN LEANDRO, THE COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, AND THE CITIES OF ALAMEDA, <br /> ALBANY, DUBLIN, EMERYVILLE, FREMONT, HAYWARD, LIVERMORE, NEWARK, <br /> PIEDMONT, PLEASANTON, AND UNION CITY <br /> WHEREAS, an amendment to the Associated Community Action Program joint powers <br /> authority agreement between the City of San Leandro, the County of Alameda, and the Cities of <br /> Alameda, Albany, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Piedmont, <br /> Pleasanton, and Union City, a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended approval of said agreement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That the amendment to the joint powers authority agreement is approved, and the City <br /> Manager is authorized to execute the amendment, and take all actions to enforce the terms and <br /> conditions of the amendment and the remainder of the agreement. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 17th day of <br /> October, 2011, by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
