Of <br />Letter to OLSD 071311. Of <br />DIANA PROLA, SAN LEANDRO SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES, <br />commented that the elementary school students have received recycling training, and <br />free or reduced priced garbage service would be a big incentive to the schools to <br />continue this education. Mrs. Prola spoke about the importance of instilling good <br />recycling habits in our children. <br />DON SIEFKES, SAN LEANDRO RESIDENT, commented that biweekly recycling <br />pickup is a disincentive, and suggested the Council reconsider weekly pickup. <br />11 -248 ADOPT: Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Memorandum of <br />Understanding with the Oro Loma Sanitary District for Refuse, Green Waste, and <br />Recycling Services in the L3 Area <br />Attachments: MOU with Oro Loma Sanitary District <br />A motion was made by Council Member Prola, seconded by Council Member <br />Russo Cutter, that this Resolution be Tabled.
