PUBLIC HEARINGS - CITY COUNCIL <br />3.A. 11 -350 Staff Report for Matter of Protest Ballots Regarding Change in Purpose of Previously <br />Approved Wastewater Rate Increases and Consideration of Ordinance and Code <br />Changes <br />Attachments: legal notice 9 -6 -11 Final rotated.pdf <br />The Hearing was opened to the public. <br />There being no public comments, and without objection, the Public Hearing was <br />closed. <br />11 -416 MOTION: Motion Accepting the Protest Ballot Results <br />The City Clerk reported that 14,580 properties were eligible to participate in the <br />election. Of the 14,580 ballots that were mailed, 327 valid protest ballots were <br />returned. The percentage of the protest vote was 2.24 %. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Prola, seconded by Council Member <br />Cutter, to accept the results of the protest ballots.
