Municipal Code Regulations Related to (Entertainment Activities <br />I. Business License (Title 2 "Revenue "; Chapter 2 -21 <br />a. Key Requirements <br />i. License application completed and related fee must be paid to do <br />business in City <br />ii. Separate license for each separate business in same location <br />iii. Separate license for each branch establishment or portion of a business is <br />conducted in a separate location <br />iv. License conspicuously displayed or carried on body <br />V. <br />b. City Actions <br />i. Finance Director issues, denies, renews and enforces <br />c. Fines /Penalties <br />i. No fines <br />ii. Penalties /enforcement = revocation if noncompliant with State /local law <br />or untrue application statements discovered <br />iii. Business must cease within 5 days of mailing of notice of revocation by <br />Finance Director <br />1. Business may appeal to City Council <br />Il. Noise Ordinance_ JTItle 4 "Public Welfare "; Chapter 4 -1; Article 11) <br />a. Key requirements <br />i. Prohibited noises: <br />1. animal noises, <br />2. construction - related near residential, <br />3. mechanical /electric machines /systems near residential ( 9 pm -8 <br />am), <br />4. loud music in parks, public streets & public /private open space (10 <br />pm — 9 am), <br />5. Music (bands, concert), stereos, electronics (10 pm — 8 am) - 50 <br />foot radius <br />ii.
