Special Notes: <br />I. The Contractor is required to adhere to the Alameda County Greenwaste Landfill Ordinance. This ordinance requires <br />that all grass clippings that are not cycled back into the turf shall be removed from the site and taken to a green waste <br />recycling facility (they shall not be mixed with solid waste and /or left on- site). All prices included above shall include <br />proper disposal of all green waste. <br />2. As part of a pilot project, where appropriate, the City is in the process of transitioning away from planting annuals to <br />planting perennials. For those locations that indicate the change -out of annuals, during the time of the contract the City <br />may direct that perennials be substituted, with the assumption that the perennials would not be changed out unless a <br />plant died, but would require trimming back once /year (it may also be that the change from annuals to perennials has <br />already occurred by the time the contract is begun). <br />Please also include the following prices <br />Hourly Rate for Extra Work: $40.00 <br />Rate for Weed & Feed Per 1,000 square feet per occurrence: $4.25 <br />NPSA 51517- Citywide Landscape - Pacheco Brothers Page 25 of 25 <br />
