IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -207 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING SAN LEANDRO LOCAL HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN <br />2010 ANNEX <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requires local <br />jurisdictions to update their Local Hazard Mitigation Plans every five years in order to be eligible <br />for disaster mitigation and assistance funding; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has participated in the Association of Bay Area Governments <br />program for updating of its Local Hazard Mitigation Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the San Leandro Local Hazard Mitigation Plan 2010 Annex, a copy of which <br />is attached, has been presented to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended approval of said Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said San Leandro Local Hazard Mitigation Plan 2010 Annex is hereby adopted. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Cutter and passed and adopted this 19th day of December, <br />2011, by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br />Mayor Cassidy (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
