File Number: 12 -105 <br />• On June 18, 2007, by Resolution No. 2007 -078, the City Council adopted the budget for <br />Fiscal Year 2007 -2008 that provided CIP funds in Account No. 210 -62 -008 <br />• On December 6, 2010, by Resolution 2010 -146, the City Council authorized a sole- source <br />contract with Public Restroom Company to provide a pre- fabricated restroom for the <br />subject project <br />• On May 16, 2011, by Resolution 2011 -091, the City Council approved Plans and <br />Specifications and called for bids on the subject project <br />• On June 20, 2011, by Resolution 2011 -128, the City Council awarded a construction <br />contract to the low bidder, McNabb Construction, for the subject project <br />Committee Review and Actions <br />The project was presented to the Facilities and Transportation Committee during the project <br />update on June 8, 2010. <br />Applicable General Plan Policies <br />Conforms to General Plan Goal 21.01, which encourages both renovation and ADA upgrades <br />of City parks. <br />Permits and /or Variances Granted <br />This project obtained a City electrical permit for the new electrical service to the pre- fabricated <br />restroom. <br />Environmental Review <br />This project was determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA), pursuant to Section 15302. <br />Code Compliance Review <br />A City electrical permit was obtained to install the electrical service for the new restroom. <br />Summary of Public Outreach Efforts <br />A community workshop was held on July 22, 2010 to solicit input from the community on the <br />KaBOOM! playground (Project No. 150 -62 -008). At that meeting, information on the proposed <br />restroom and location was provided for public review and comment. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />• The total project cost (including the pre- fabricated restroom building) is approximately <br />$323,000.
