p City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: May 21, 2012 <br />Resolution - Council <br />File Number: 12 -189 Agenda Section: CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO: City Council <br />FROM: Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY: Carolyn Knudtson <br />Recreation and Human Services Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW: Not Applicable <br />TITLE: ADOPT: Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Submit the Measure B <br />Paratransit Application for the Expenditure of Measure B Paratransit Funds in <br />FY 2012 -13 to the Alameda County Transportation Commission (CTC) <br />[approves the application for Measure B Paratransit funds, $254,752 (FLEX <br />Shuttle), $75,000 (Medical Transportation) and participation in the CTC Taxi <br />Voucher One -Year Pilot Program] <br />WHEREAS, before Measure B Paratransit funds will be made available to local <br />agencies, the LOCAL AGENCY is required to approve the annual application for Measure B <br />Paratransit funding; and <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Transportation Commission (CTC) requires a <br />resolution approving the annual application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City of San Leandro's application for Measure B Paratransit Funds is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is authorized to submit the Measure B Paratransit Application <br />for the expenditure of Measure B funds in FY 2012 -13 to CTC, and to negotiate and execute <br />all documents in support of these activities; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution will be transmitted to the <br />Alameda County Transportation Commission. <br />City of San Leandro Page 1 Printed on 511512012 <br />
