IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -067 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTUAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH SAFE <br /> MOVES RELATING TO CONDUCTING SAN LEANDRO K -8TH SCHOOLS TRAFFIC <br /> SAFETY EDUCATION PROGRAM, PROJECT NO. 150 -38 -338 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has been awarded a $410,000 Safe Routes To <br /> School (SRTS) Program grant for a Traffic Safety Education Program in San Leandro K -8th <br /> Public Schools; and <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Safe Moves, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto, has been presented to this Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, The City Manager has recommended the approval of said document. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said agreement is hereby approved and execution thereof by the City Manager is <br /> hereby authorized. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 4th day of June, <br /> 2012, by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: MIA-V.0.14 <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
