San Leandro Disaster Council Goals /Projects for 2012 and 2013 <br />(This list indicates the results of those voting at the April meeting to set priorities.) <br />• Create a directory of critical emergency response partners and partners within the <br />Disaster Council and share with all members. (10) <br />• Identify active CERT groups in San Leandro. Expand CERT to all neighborhoods. (5) <br />• Provide copies of emergency plans and emergency contact rosters for all Disaster <br />Council members and share with all members. (6) <br />• Share information about redundant information and communication systems used by <br />the member agencies. (3) <br />• Establish a training calendar listing trainings being offered by member agencies and <br />emergency response partners. (ACFD will provide updates) <br />• Provide a table -top exercise for HAM/RACES radio operators from member <br />agencies. Report to the Disaster Council when trainings occur. (1) <br />• Schedule an overview of the HAM/RACES /AERES operations with member <br />agencies. (7) <br />• Coordinate a full functional EOC exercise to coincide with the next county -wide <br />exercise. (6) <br />• School Preparedness (11 overall; * denotes priority within category): <br />• Help schools to organize fundraising for emergency supplies for schools and <br />for education materials for families. *(9) <br />• Reach out to charter and private schools to include them in the Disaster <br />Council. *(2) <br />• Schedule a presentation by Roosevelt School and parents' group to hear about <br />their preparedness planning. <br />• Discuss non - traditional ways of addressing the need for emergency <br />preparedness support for the schools and students. *(1) <br />
