File Number: 12 -287 <br />Environmental Review <br />National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) environmental reviews of each project have <br />been completed. <br />Board /Commission Review and Actions <br />On February 24, 2010, the Human Services Commission recommended that the <br />above - mentioned eight (8) public service projects /activities be awarded CDBG funds under <br />the CAP Program for FY 2010 -2011 and FY 2011 -2012. <br />The Human Services Commission also convened on April 27th, 2011 and approved the 2nd <br />year (FY 2011 -2012) CDBG funding, which was reduced by 17.27 %, for these public service <br />project /activities. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />The public services projects will cost $84,110 and be funded by FY 2012 -2013 CDBG monies <br />in these account numbers: <br />BFWC - San Leandro Shelter - $14,718 - 165 -43- 206 -5120 <br />DSFRC - Basic Needs Program - $24,530 - 165 -43- 207 -5120 <br />DSFRC - Community Counseling Program - $7,008 - 165 -43- 220 -5120 <br />ECHO Housing - Tenant - Landlord Counseling - $10,512 - 165 -43- 128 -5120 <br />ECHO Housing - Rental Assistance Program - $5,000 - 165 -43- 221 -5120 <br />Girls, Inc. - Family Strengthening Program - $7,008 - 165 -43- 222 -5120 <br />SAVE - Community Oriented Prevention Program - $7,667 - 165 -43- 223 -5120 <br />SOS /Meals on Wheels - Meal Delivery to Homebound Seniors - $7,667 - 165 -43- 224 -5120 <br />Budget Authority <br />Budget authority for CDBG funds is derived from Title I of the Housing and Community <br />Development Act of 1974 (24 CFR 570 et seq.).
