City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: July 2, 2012 <br />Resolution - Council <br />File Number: 12 -355 Agenda Section: ACTION ITEMS <br />Agenda Number: 10.C. <br />TO: City Council <br />FROM: Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY: Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW: Not Applicable <br />TITLE: ADOPT: Resolution Designating Voting Delegate and Alternate for the <br />League of California Cities 2012 Annual Conference (provides for discussion <br />and designation of a voting delegate and alternate voting delegate[s]) <br />WHEREAS, the League of California Cities ( "League ") 2012 Annual Conference is <br />scheduled for September 5 -7 in San Diego; and <br />WHEREAS, an important part of the Annual Conference is the Annual Business <br />Meeting, scheduled for September 7, in which the League membership considers and takes <br />action on resolutions that establish League policy; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council must designate a voting delegate in order to vote at the <br />Annual Business Meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council may appoint up to two alternate voting delegates in the <br />event that the designated voting delegate is unable to serve in that capacity. <br />follows: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />That Councilmember _ is hereby designated as the voting delegate; and <br />That Councilmembers _ and _ are hereby designated as the alternate voting <br />delegates. <br />City of San Leandro Page 1 Printed on 612612012 <br />
