IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -083 RESOLUTION IMPOSING LIENS FOR NON - PAYMENT OF DELINQUENT 2012 BUSINESS LICENSE TAX, SOLID WASTE SERVICE CHARGES, SIDEWALK REPAIRS, COMMUNITY COMPLIANCE CODE ENFORCEMENT VIOLATION PENALTIES AND /OR WEED ABATEMENT CHARGES, FALSE ALARM RESPONSES, CERTIFIED UNIFIED PROGRAM AGENCY (CUPA) FEES, AND SEWER SERVICE CHARGES The City Council of the City of San Leandro has reviewed the Reports of the Finance Director, filed with the City Clerk on Monday, July 9, 2012, and bearing List No. 2012 -001 for 2012 business license tax, List No. 2012 -002 for solid waste fees and charges, List No. 2012 -003 for sidewalk repairs, List No. 2012 -004 for community compliance code enforcement code violation penalties and/or weed abatement charges, List No. 2012 -005 for false alarm responses, List No. 2012 -006 for Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) fees, and List No. 2012 -007 for sewer service charges; copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein. All of said charges are currently unpaid and delinquent. Pursuant to the San Leandro Municipal Code, notice was duly given of the time and place of hearing on said delinquent charges and upon any objections or protest by any of the property owners liable to be Iiened for non - payment of such delinquent charges. Said hearing was regularly set for the hour of 7:00 p.m. on July 16, 2012, in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, CA. The City Council of the City of San Leandro has heard and passed on objections and protests of the property owners liable to be assessed for charges. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the City Council of the City of San Leandro confirms the Reports of the Finance Director concerning non - payment of City service charges and bearing Lists Nos. 2012 -001, 2012 -002, 2012 -003, 2012 -004, 2012 -005, 2012 -006, and 2012 -007. And it is further RESOLVED that said assessments of delinquent charges of the City of San Leandro are hereby approved and confirmed and a lien is hereby imposed upon said real property in the amount set therein. And it is further RESOLVED that a notice of lien shall be delivered to the County Auditor, who shall enter the amount thereof on the County Assessment Book opposite the description of the particular property and the amount shall be collected together with all other taxes thereon against the property.
