• <br /> • <br /> IN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96- 33 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> APPROVING THE FINAL DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE BATARSE FAMILY TRUST AND THE <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RECITALS <br /> WHEREAS, on April 15, 1.996, by Resolution No. 96- 11 , the San Leandro <br /> Redevelopment Agency approved the form of a disposition and development <br /> agreement ( "Agreement ") by and between the Batarse Family Trust ( "Batarse ") and <br /> the Agency relating to the Cou of Alameda - City of San Leandro Joint <br /> Redevelopment Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the parties have finalized the terms of the Agreement, which <br /> continues to provide for the purchase and assembly of real property parcels on <br /> Marina Boulevard and disposition to Batarse for consideration in the amount of <br /> $1,300,000, as may be adjusted•by the terms of the related promissory note and deed <br /> of trust; and <br /> WHEREAS, Batarse will develop the Marina Boulevard Auto Center upon <br /> execution of the Agreement, as well as provide a minimum sales tax guaranty, as <br /> previously agreed upon; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency previously found and declared that the consideration, <br /> construction, and dealership operation provided in the Agreement will implement <br /> and carry out the provisions of the Joint Redevelopment Project Plan ( "Plan ") and <br /> Implementation Plan for the County of Alameda - City of San Leandro Joint <br /> Redevelopment Project ( "Project "); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency further found and declared that the Agreement will <br /> assist in the elimination of blight in the Project Area by eliminating and preventing <br /> the spread of conditions of blight including deteriorating buildings, incompatible and <br /> uneconomic land uses, obsolete structures, and other environmental, economic and <br />
