IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -127 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENTS TO THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO'S <br /> MEASURE Z CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE <br /> AS REQUIRED BY ORDINANCE NO. 2010 -022 <br /> WHEREAS, Measure Z requires that a Citizens Oversight Committee be appointed and <br /> charged with review and oversight of the revenues and expenditures derived from Measure Z <br /> funds; and <br /> WHEREAS. by Resolution No. 2012 -024, the City Council set the criteria for the <br /> Citizens Oversight Committee to include representatives from the following stakeholder groups: <br /> 1. A member representing the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce <br /> 2. A member representing a residents' or homeowners' association <br /> 3. A member from a City Board or Commission <br /> 4. A member who owns a business located in San Leandro <br /> 5. A member representing the Retail Downtown Business Association; and <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2012 -103, the City Council appointed four members to <br /> the Measure Z Citizens Oversight Committee. <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 2, 2012, the City Council Finance Committee <br /> discussed the nomination of the final member to represent the Retail Downtown Business <br /> Association and recommends Sarah Galvin for appointment by the full City Council. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That Sarah Galvin is hereby appointed to the Measure Z Citizens Oversight Committee to <br /> serve a three -year term expiring on August 31, 2015. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 3rd day of December, <br /> 2012, by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Dlugosh, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza; Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: /l/ta/W/A (4,1a. -&-_ <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
