Emergency Preparedness, provided however, that County shall <br /> participate in any emergency preparedness exercises sponsored by the City, and will <br /> respond in the event of a Locally declared disaster as described herein and in Exhibit "A." . . <br /> Section 4. ADMINISTRATION: <br /> a. The County designates the County Administrator, or his or her <br /> designated representative, to represent the County in all matters pertaining to the <br /> administration of this Agreement. <br /> b. The City designates the City Manager, or his or her designated <br /> representative, to represent the City in all matters pertaining to the administration of <br /> this Agreement. <br /> c. The Fire Chief shall meet with the City Manager at least quarterly <br /> or more frequently as reasonably requested by either the City Manager or the Fire Chief. <br /> d. The Fire Chief, or his or her designee, shall attend City Council <br /> meetings, Commission meetings, and City staff meetings when requested by the City <br /> Manager. <br /> e. The Fire Chief is hereby designated the City of San Leandro Fire <br /> Chief and shall have and possess such authority as the Charter, Municipal Code, <br /> FIRE PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY <br /> MEDICAL SERVICES AGREEMENT Page 6 of 21 <br /> 10 <br />
