• • <br /> SERVICE CRITERIA <br /> I. EMERGENCY RESPONSE <br /> 1. Response Time: <br /> County shall respond the first due company to all emergency incidents, <br /> excluding freeway response, 90 percent within five (5) minutes or less. A full first . <br /> alarm assignment shall respond 90 percent within (10) minutes or less. The County , <br /> • Fire Chief shall confer with the City Manager with regard to County's performance in <br /> meeting the above - stated goal at their regularly scheduled quarterly meeting. Data on <br /> response time will be available to City Manager within 30 days of the close of the <br /> calendar quarter in which the responses occur. <br /> 2. Staffing and Equipment Level: <br /> County will maintain a minimum staffing level of 21 (7 companies) per <br /> shift, with each company consisting of 1 captain, 1 engineer and 1 firefighter. In the <br /> absence of rated officers actors will be used. <br /> Staffing of engines or trucks will include a paramedic upon certification <br /> of fire personnel under current training program. <br /> Currently the City maintains a minimum staffing level of 24 (8 <br /> companies) per shift. Upon consolidation the City will reduce 1 company. The <br /> management staffs of City and County will conduct an evaluation to determine which <br /> company will be taken out of service. <br /> 3. Hazardous Materials Response: <br /> The County will continue to maintain Hazardous Materials Response <br /> Team capabilities to respond to incidents within the City. The County will honor all <br /> contractual agreements the City has in place with other jurisdictions to provide <br /> Hazardous Materials Response Team capabilities. <br /> 4.
