• <br /> D :; 1" <br /> Appendix C <br /> Page 9 <br /> 1428 Administration <br /> Examinations may be administered at such hours and in such locations as in the judgment of the <br /> director will be most consistent with the interests of the County and the convenience of the <br /> applicants. Each applicant who has filed for an examination according to rule 1328 shall be <br /> notified of the date, time, and place of such examination, or part thereof. The director shall <br /> appoint monitors to conduct the examination in accordance with instructions prescribed therefor. <br /> 1432 Administration in Other Localities <br /> When recruiting outside the County, the director may arrange to have the subject matter portion <br /> of an examination administered to applicants by other qualified agencies in the area where such <br /> applicants are located. When the interview is a part of such examination, successful candidates <br /> in the subject matter tests shall come to Alameda County for such interview at their own <br /> expense, unless otherwise ordered by the Commission. <br /> 1436 Continuous Testing <br /> The Commission may order continuous examinations for classes for which it is difficult to <br /> maintain adequate eligible lists. For such classes, the director may continuously receive <br /> applications, conduct examinations, and place names of successful candidates on eligible lists in <br /> order of their final ratings in the examination. Eligibility from a continuous examination may <br /> be deemed to be established as of the date the examination is completed. <br /> 1440 Postponement and Cancellation <br /> The Commission may order that an examination be postponed or canceled and in such case <br /> applicants shall be given suitable notice thereof. <br /> 1448 Anonymity of Candidates <br /> To assure anonymity for each competitor in the written test, his papers shall be identified by a <br /> number until the scoring of the written test is completed.
