January 22, 2013City Council Draft Minutes <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS5. <br />DARLENE EVANS, San Leandro resident, commented on various articles published <br />in a local newspaper. <br />CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS6. <br />City Manager Zapata announced that the City Council will hold a planning session on <br />Saturday, January 26 at the Senior Community Center, beginning at 8:30 a.m., and <br />invited the public to attend. <br />City Attorney Williams reported briefly on her presentation at the League of California <br />Cities New Mayors and Council Members Academy , and on the City's Martin Luther <br />King, Jr. celebration. <br />AMENDMENT OF CONSENT CALENDAR7. <br />There was no amendment to the Consent Calendar. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR8. <br />Approval of the Consent Calendar <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Reed, seconded by Councilmember <br />Souza, to approve the Consent Calendar.
