San Leandro <br />in large parts have been able to stay out of the news that has riddled our neighboring cities of Oakland <br />and Hayward. I am bothered to hear the city that I have now called my home is strongly considering <br />allowing marijuana dispensaries into this city. I implore you to please do not let this happen! This city <br />does not need an element that attracts crime or promotes questionable behavior. Our neighbors in <br />Oakland and San Lorenzo have their own facilities; we do not need one too. <br /> <br />San Leandro is also trying to attract new businesses with the Lit San Leandro Broadband project and has <br />just hired a Chief Innovation Officer. Is it really worth a potential business asking or worrying about the <br />effect of a marijuana dispensary to them if they move to San Leandro?
