They are not needed, not wanted, and certainly will increase our crime rate. We elderly <br />already live in fear in our neighborhoods, and we don't need you to add to that fear of criminal <br />activity. <br />. <br />As a former Council Member and Vice Mayor, I am fully aware of City's constant effort toward <br />"creating new sources of revenue". It will be a disgrace to the community if this is your incentive <br />toward establishinhing this unwanted "business". <br /> <br />I urge you, as Mayor and Council Members to totally refrain from even cansidering marijuana <br />dispensaries anywhere in San Leandro.
