IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2013-024 <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 6.4.100 OF THE <br /> SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE TO <br /> INCREASE SUBPOENA FEE FOR PERSONAL APPEARANCE OF POLICE OFFICERS <br /> WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 68097.2 provides for a witness fee to <br /> be charged at the time a subpoena is served for the attendance of certain public employees, <br /> including peace officers and firefighters. <br /> WHEREAS, Assembly Bill 2612 amended California Government Code Section <br /> 68097.2(b)to increase the witness fee of police officers from $150 to $275. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. That following notice and hearing as may be required by law, Title 6, Chapter 4, <br /> Section 6.4.100 of the San Leandro Administrative Code ("Fee Schedule")is hereby amended to <br /> add a separate fee for personal appearance of police officers (shown in bold and italics), as follows: <br /> CITYWIDE <br /> 3. Subpoena Fees <br /> A. Records $15.00 <br /> B. Personal appearance of City employees $150.00 <br /> C. Personal appearance of police officers $275.00 <br /> 2.
