Equipment Maintenance -This fund accounts for the maintenance and replacement of vehicles <br />and equipment used by all City departments.Source of revenue for this fund is reimbursement of <br />costs for services and supplies purchased by other departments. <br />INTERNAL SERVICE FUNDS <br />Internal Service Funds are used to account for special activities and services performed by a <br />designated City department for other departments on a cost reimbursement basis. <br />Building Maintenance -This fund accounts for the City’s custodial maintenance and minor <br />building modifications performed on various City complexes.The source of revenue is <br />reimbursement of costs for services performed to the departments. <br />Information Management Services -This fund accounts for centralized data processing and the <br />maintenance,acquisition and replacement of computerized systems.Source of revenue for this <br />fund is reimbursement of costs for services and equipment purchased by other departments. <br />Self-Insurance -This fund accounts for the administration of the City’s self-insurance programs, <br />payment of workers' compensation and liability claims payments. <br />147
