City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: March 18, 2013 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:13-106 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Theresa Mallon <br />Library Services Director and <br />Lianne Marshall <br />Assistant City Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:ADOPT: Resolution Approving a Master Agreement with SirsiDynix for <br />Upgrade of Integrated Library System from SirsiDynix Horizon to SirsiDynix <br />Symphony SaaS and Accepting the Quote for Upgrade of Two Self -Check <br />Machines to Become Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliant (provides <br />upgrades for $155,913.37, with $68,369.00 from the San Leandro Public <br />Library Foundation and $87,544.37 from the fund balance reserves in the <br />Information Technology fund 688) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the San Leandro Public Library and SirsiDynix and <br />a quote from SirsiDynix, copies of which are attached, have been presented to this City <br />Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized; and <br />That said quote is hereby accepted and the upgrade of two self-check machines is <br />hereby authorized. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 3/13/2013
