Intermountain Slurry Seal, Inc. <br />submitted the lowest responsive bid at $725,470.70 for the base bid, the cost of which was <br />used as the basis of award. The pre-bid engineer’s estimate for construction was <br />$886,516.60 for the base bid. <br />The street sealing unit prices are approximately 30% less than those from the bids for the <br />2011-12 project that were rejected in September 2012.
